Vineyard
- This blend brings together fruit from four distinct vineyard sites—three in Sonoma County and one in Napa Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot come from Alexander Valley, additional Cabernet Sauvignon from the Fountaingrove District, Cabernet Franc from Sonoma Valley, and a small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon from Atlas Peak in Napa. The composition breaks down as 70% Alexander Valley, 20% Fountaingrove, 5% Sonoma Valley, and 5% Atlas Peak. Together, these sites create a balance of bold, structured hillside fruit and softer, more plush valley floor character.
How it's made
- Each vineyard selected brings something to the table for the Boulder Blend. The Alexander Valley vineyards offer us dark, fruity flavors while maintaining acidity. The Fountaingrove brings the bitter chocolate and black pepper notes. Sonoma Valley gives up red bell pepper. Finally, the Atlas Peak is what adds the body and makes it the boldest of the other flagship wines! 150 Cases Produced
